Live Free Outdoors: Summer Video Series Returns

For the third year in a row NH State Parks will be producing a summer video series featuring a volunteer intern. This year’s series has been dubbed ‘Live Free Outdoors’ and the first episode, about the Flume Gorge, is being released today!

High Point University student, Emily Durant, will be serving as host of the Live Free Outdoors video series this summer. She is currently working towards a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Performing Arts. Emily hails from Hampton, New Hampshire and just returned from studying abroad in France, where she also served as a travel blogger for the CEA Study Abroad Company. As the 2018 NH State Park intern, she is excited to connect people with the outdoors and encourage visitation of NH State Parks.

Our Live Free Outdoors videos will focus on day-use park experiences, with an emphasis on hiking and water sports in particular. Videos will be published two or three time per month from June through August, 2018. In the coming weeks we’re heading to State Parks like Hampton Beach, White Lake, Wellington, Echo Lake (North Conway), Pawtuckaway, Kingston, Bear Brook, Mount Sunapee and more.
